InordertoavoidacivilwarandtrytestablishanationalunitedfrontfortheresistanceagainstJapan,efore,adelegationheadedbyZhouEnlaiwassenttoXi’Enlaiandhissuitedidalargeamountofworkthere,tookeverythingpossibleintoconsideration,cember25,Chiangwasfreed,i’anIncidentwassopeacefullysettled.
ThepeacefulsettlementoftheIncidentputanendtotheinternalwarwhichhadlastedfortenyears,over,rkedagreatturningpointinmodernChinesehistory.
Intheyearof1946theKMTgovernmenthada“NationalRejuvenationPavilion”salsocalled“VitalEnergyPavilion”rthenationalliberationitwasrenamed“CatchingChiangPavilion”ebythepavilionstandsawoodenboardwhichcarriesabriefintroductiontotheXi’chainsandringsinthecreviceseastofthepavilion,bywhichvisitorscanclimbuptotakealookatChiangKaishek’sshelter.
